Firmware is updated to last version (I've updated several times) In Flow or in library 70% of songs are not starting to play. Both deezer and tidal are stuck in yamaha land using musiccast to stream any type of HIFI. With Tidal now integrating with Plex, this is a nice step forward (if you have plex) as I have a plex server. Yamaha was one of the first AV manufacturers to introduce a wireless multi-room audio system, similarly named MusicCAST, back in 2003. This was followed by MusicCAST2 in 2009, and then MusicCast in August 2015. Models released from August 2015 to present are compatible with one another. Apple Music via AirPlay or AirPlay 2. Spotify via Spotify Connect Free or Paid Accounts. Deezer, Napster, SiriusXM, TIDAL. Qobuz, Amazon Music, Amazon Music HD.
Yamaha announced today that it will support global music and entertainment platforms, TIDAL & Deezer. These platforms will be available on all 2017 released Yamaha network AV receivers from the 83 series alongside other MusicCast wireless multiroom audio products via a future firmware update.
