The indie developer thatgamecompany is best known for its work on Journey, but Sky: Children of the Light is largely considered a similar experience. The wordless story of Journey shows the path to a mountain, a pilgrimage taken by culture shared by the player character. The game's 'multiplayer' is unique in that players can randomly encounter others during their journeys, though they cannot speak. Rather, they communicate with the limited controls and can aid one another throughout the game. Sky: Children of the Light expands on these social mechanics in a world where capes give players the ability to fly.
